Examining the World Trade Center Attacks

An astonishing phenomenon occurred immediately after 9/11. There was massive, overwhelming denial regarding who was behind the attacks. It was as if following the demise of the twin towers and building seven at the World Trade Center there was a further controlled demolition of truth and logic themselves.

The Bush Administration did everything within its power to avoid an investigation into the events. When the demands of the bereaved families and others became too persistent to ignore, Bush appointed the Warren Commission. Except the evidence had already long since been destroyed, the Commission was deliberately starved of funds, time, and even access to the contaminated crime scene, and witnesses. The President and Vice President agreed to cooperate only if they could appear as witnesses together and unsworn, that no notes be taken, and the meeting be restricted to one hour (later amended). Two of the commissioners have since repudiated the 'investigation' and its findings.

Conspiracy Theories about 9/11

While not everything that happened prior to, on, and after 9/11 can be known, we do know some things.

• The PNAC (Project for a New American Century) people (Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Jeb Bush, Richard Perle, Zalmay Khalilzad and others with huge influence in the Bush White House) wrote of the desirability of a 'new Pearl Harbor event' as a catalyst to convince the American people to support their plan for world dominance. They used such terms as 'benevolent hegemony', 'preventive war' and 'full spectrum dominance'. They planned for a vastly expanded and engaged military. They were believers in the political philosophy of Leo Strauss, who believed that Americans needed to be led by a behind-the-scenes elite, and advocated 'the noble lie' by which the electorate is deceived 'for its own good'.

• A plane did not strike the Pentagon. Before the façade collapsed, videotape and still photos clearly show a neat round hole which is perhaps twelve feet in diameter, consistent with a missile or drone. No parts of a massive Boeing 757 are apparent. Claims that the plane was 'vaporized' are inconsistent with basic physics. A damaged rotor is apparent, but is much smaller than those of a 757, but consistent with that of a cruise missile or drone. Immediately after the impact, a line of business suited men can be seen cleaning up small debris outside on the otherwise pristine lawn. Several of them carry a large box draped with a blue tarp to hide its contents. Videotape from nearby businesses was immediately confiscated by the FBI. In seven years none of the tape from the many cameras around the Pentagon was made available except for a few frames which do not depict a plane, but do show a high heat signature consistent with a missile strike. Donald Rumsfeld referred to the 'missile' which struck the Pentagon. According to Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta, who was there, Vice President Dick Cheney gave an order that whatever was coming at the Pentagon was not to be shot down.

• Buildings One and Two were designed to withstand the impacts of several airplanes. Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel, or to significantly weaken it. FEMA's own tests verified this. The buildings fell at virtually free-fall speed. This would contravene the laws of physics (law of conservation of momentum, for one) unless sources of friction were eliminated by cutting steel beams below the immediate area of collapse. There is plenty of eyewitness and video evidence that exactly this happened.

• Building Seven suffered no significant damage and only minor fires, yet it too fell symmetrically into its own footprint, after an initial, visible explosion. WTC leaseholder Larry Silverstein later said on television that he ordered the building 'pulled'. The possibility of three buildings collapsing unassisted in the manner of the three WTC buildings simply defies logic, common sense, the laws of physics, and the truth. There is evidence that Building Seven collapsed at a speed very slightly faster than the speed of gravity absent a vacuum. How could that be? A powerful explosion in the basement to cut supporting structural steel would create a momentary partial vacuum, slightly speeding the process.

• Pools of molten steel were found at the sub-basement level of all three buildings more than a month after the events. This is clear evidence that explosives were used. Nothing else can reasonably explain such incredibly high enduring temperatures, in spite of the application of millions of gallons of water. Friction does not explain the phenomenon, and if it did then the buildings could not have collapsed so rapidly. Law of conservation of energy. The use of Thermite or Thermate fits perfectly.

• Dust samples recovered from the scene and analyzed by physicist Dr. Steven Jones and at other labs were revealed to contain zinc, barium, manganese, aluminum oxide and sulphur, all consistent with the use of Thermite or other explosives used to demolish buildings. Those agents have a well known chemical signature, because they are sometimes used in arson fires. Immediate corrosion to metal surfaces (i.e. roofs of cars) occurred, also an effect of Thermite.

• Even though stock markets are monitored in real time by government agencies and information would be readily available, the government did not investigate who took out pre-911 'put options' ('bets' that stock values will fall) on stock in United Airlines, American Airlines, Munich Re, Axa Group Merill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and other companies that were hurt by the disaster, or 'call options' on Raytheon (weapons manufacturer) which greatly benefited. One of the banks used was Banker's Trust, long known to be a major launderer of drug money, and a bank which employed A. B. 'Buzzy' Krongrad as a top executive. Krongrad is now Executive Director at the CIA, another organization known to launder drug money as well as to massively deal in drugs.

Skeptics of the official version are often dismissed as 'conspiracy nuts', as if a bunch of Muslims hijacking four planes simultaneously does not itself constitute a conspiracy. The question has always been who was behind the conspiracy, not whether there was one.
