Thailand

White sandy beaches to bask in the sun

They assumed they witnessed a sex deal with two young boys. He probably did see some bartering for something, but you must realize that in Thailand, you barter for everything. '

Sa wat di.sa bai dii mai ka? Chan chuu Pauline, yin dii tii daai ruu jak ka. Chan poot paa saa tai nit noi, koa jai mai ka? (Good day or hello. How are you? My name is Pauline. Nice to meet you. I speak a little Thai. Do you understand?)

Don’t get the wrong idea about Thailand. It's not only for sex tourists; it’s a beautiful place for people like you and me who want to bask in the sun on the warm sandy beaches. The people are more than welcoming, always with a smile and a gesture of politeness. After all, Thailand’s nickname is “the land of smiles”.

I have traveled 10,000 miles, half way around the world, to visit Thailand for rest and relaxation. I try to go there once a year if I am permitted. It has many different activities that you can do besides drink in bars and seek out someone to have sex with. I should know since I have ridden elephants, pet tigers, held monkeys and crocodiles, snorkeled amongst schools of colorful fish (and barracudas) and much more.

Thai people are very entertaining. They are smart, talented and creative people with limited resources as a third world country usually is.

Thailand’s sex industry is more than obvious. However, if you’re wasting your time traveling half way around the world for sex, you’re missing out on the best part of your travels. I can remember when I used to drink and be merry on my holidays, but I realized that I missed out on a lot of very interesting things because of being a little too merry.

I learned how the rest of the world partied and the different kinds of beer they drank. What a waste of money. Today I travel totally sober and I meet wonderful people and learn their languages and cultures.
