With its latest release, Windows 7, Microsoft has regained the credibility lost with Windows Vista. Windows 7 is a much smoother running operating system with a lot of features to offer.

The install itself took about 45 minutes and was really simple to navigate through.

New Features in Windows 7

Everything in Windows 7 is transparent. The taskbar, the menu bar, even the windows are transparent. This makes it much easier on the eyes while maintaining a professional look and feel.

After two days there have yet to be any hangups or frozen screens. The computer itself seems to be faster and much easier to use than XP or Vista. If this is how great the Release Candidate is, then the full release should do really well.
