UFC 2009: Undisputed was a highly anticipated fighting game when it was released in the USA in May. The game was developed by Yuke's Osaka and is available for the XBOX 360 and PS3 consoles.
When players first start UFC 2009: Undisputed, they will immediately be impressed by the graphics and the strategy behind the game. While the first few fights are fairly easy, as the career mode progresses, the game gets progressively harder. Players will get pinned and submitted if they're not careful, and most will have to go back and read the manual to work out the intricacies of the moves.
There is a very helpful sparring feature to practice moves and prefect fighting techniques. The graphics are amazing with scars, sweat and blood showing up in vivid detail. It's no exaggeration to say that Undisputed has the best graphics of any MMA game on the market. Fighters are the spitting image of their real life counterparts, with the fighter models having details tattoos, scars, and equipment.
The commentary in the game is also amazing, Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg recorded over 36 hours of audio. The commentary flows naturally and at times provides intricate conversation between the two commentators.
