
Beauty comes not only from our appearance, but from what we have to offer on the inside. It doesn't matter if you feel you're blessed or cursed regarding physical appearance, everyone has the potential to be truly beautiful.
In your environment you may feel that you're not pretty or handsome enough due to societal pressure. No matter how you feel about your body image, there is beauty within each and everyone of us, if you allow it to shine.
If you feel that you're but a speck of sand in an ocean of brilliance, or you wake up every morning and feel your heart and soul is as gray as a rainy day, you will not only limit full potential of beauty and love, but your outer appearance will reflect your inner dislike.
There are many ways to improve appearance: wear make-up, nice clothes, exercise and diet. But to really feel beautiful you must first feel comfortable in your own skin.
Take a quiet moment, light a candle, close your eyes, and breathe in and out in comfortable, relaxed breaths. Focus on an image to rid your mind of distracting thoughts.
Focus on an image of love, something that you adore. A gorgeous and fragrant flower opening its petals gently to the first rays of warm sun. The happy, twinkling delight of a baby's giggling face. The spicy, cinnamon and sweet smell of freshly baked apple pie. Anything that makes you feel good and happy.
Once this image of love and warmth permeates your mind, warming your body into relaxation. Imagine a happy, healthy version of you, the person that you'd like to become. Focus on features that are appealing to you. Visualize you, a person that is to be admired and loved, strong, beautiful and perfect.
