Greg Penney specializes in Health & Science
My name is Greg Penney. I'm 17 years old, 5'6" and weigh more than most teenagers my age. I recently starred in the CBC documentary Generation XXL, which examined obesity, self-esteem and body image among teens by following a group of us around a "Fat Camp." I have been a presenter at the ATV/CTV Tsunami Relief Concert. I've also been involved in theatre, including The Shaw Festival's The Man Who Came To Dinner. I have natural improvisational skills and am comfortable in front of an audience. I can also juggle devil and flower sticks. Now, I am a citizen correspondent for Orato Media Corporation, where I will diarize my struggles with weight, food and body image. Much is written about children and teens with weight issues, so now I'd like to offer my voice, so the world can hear it in our own words.
