SATURDAY
Aston Villa vs Newcastle United (12:45 GMT)
Newcastle have still to win but it should not be too much of a worry. Kevin Keegan is not under pressure as it will take time. Villa are going into this on the back of the loss to Fulham and those things can happen. But, they need to win to keep up with the teams chasing European places.
Prediction: 2-0
Bolton Wanderers vs Portsmouth (3 p.m. GMT)
Bolton did not sign that centre-forward I thought they needed to guarantee survival but I still think they should have enough to stay up as they are tough to beat at home. Pompey got a good result against Chelsea. They have got players coming back from the Africa Cup of Nations and they will finish the season strongly.
Prediction: 1-1
Derby County vs Tottenham Hotspur
Derby are mentally preparing for the Championship. There has been a small improvement with the players they have signed but I can only see a Spurs win. Tottenham have been looking good and did well against Manchester United. The manager Juande Ramos is the type not to let the team think about the Carling Cup final and will be at them to make sure they are concentrating on this game.
Prediction: 0-2
Everton vs Reading
Everton were robbed against Blackburn by awful decisions which did affect the outcome of the game. But their home form is good and they have some excellent players so they should win. Reading are struggling. Their away form is not good and they have become reliant on home form, which is difficult in the Premier League when you have a small squad. Plus, they will be worried as they look over their shoulders.
Prediction: 2-0
Middlesbrough vs Fulham
Fulham's win over Villa will give them a massive fillip and, with the players Roy Hodgson has signed, they look bigger and stronger. Boro also look powerful at the back and they have improved over the last eight weeks. New signing Afonso Alves might play but he hasn't played much recently and you will not see the best of him until next season.
Prediction: 1-1
Sunderland vs Wigan Athletic
I have to go for Sunderland because they are at home. That will be enough to keep them up and they have made some good signings which will help their cause. Wigan beat Sunderland in the FA Cup and that will rankle with the Stadium of Light side. Wigan's win over West ham will have helped their cause and they have enough to beat the drop.
Prediction: 2-1
West Ham United vs Birmingham City
West Ham are slowly welcoming more players back and have started to improve at home. I don't think they can challenge for a Uefa Cup spot as they players who have been out have been sidelined for so long. Birmingham are like Reading in that they are on a poor run of form at the moment. Manager Alex McLeish has signed some new players but they are taking longer then he probably expected to blend.
Prediction: 2-1
SUNDAY
Manchester United vs Manchester City (13:30 GMT)
I expect a big performance from Manchester United, especially with the 50th Munich anniversary element. City beat them in the reverse fixture and Sir Alex Ferguson's side will be ready. City appear completely out of sorts. They don't look like scoring chances and their defence looks shaky.
Prediction: 3-0
Chelsea vs Liverpool (16:00 GMT)
Chelsea could put out two sides in the Premier League and both would finish in the top five. They have put in some excellent performances under manager Avram Grant without a lot of noise about them. With Liverpool missing Fernando Torres the worry is who else will score for them. They have been struggling of late and when they go to Chelsea they always tend to be negative.
Prediction: 1-0
MONDAY
Arsenal vs Blackburn Rovers (20:00 GMT)
Arsenal are very good at home and I don't see them losing. There will not be extra pressure if Chelsea and Man Utd win as there is pressure to win every game on each of those three teams. Blackburn will be competitive but they can be inconsistent. Manager Mark Hughes has done a very good job and they will be in the Uefa Cup shake-up at the end of the season.
Prediction: 2-0
