Born in Argentina, I started writing in Spanish and only after 18 years in Canada decided it was time to try English. I won three first prizes for short stories, and finalist place at a poetry contest. I write songs from time to time and for ten years was the main singer and second guitarrist in Latin American group SOLIS, based in Vancouver until its members dispersed to the four winds in 1996. I died three times but as in Maria Elena Walsh's song, yet I am here reviving, and thanking fate for killing me so ineffectively that I went on singing. I birthed two wonderful children, wrote a book, planted three trees. I've been teaching since age 16, mostly Computing Sciences, which I studied in Buenos Aires and in Marseille.
