I am a 70some aspiring writer. I post regularly to my blog and treat it as a practice writing place for the most part. I spent most of my work life writing sales proposals or management consulting reports. Now I write to tell my stories. I was born in Spain of Cape Breton Island, Canada parents in October 1935. My family were forced to leave (escaped) civil war in '36 Spain and WW II in France '39. Those events left me with unresolved feelings and sketchy memories of parlous times I lived through by the age of about 5.
