Since America's Next Top Model, I have been so busy. At the moment I'm looking for a David Bowie look-a-like for a music video my boyfriend is directing, which I am co-producing and acting in. This is my first time producing a film project, so it is so exciting. Oh, and I am planning my trip to Burning Man!
I don't have any clue what that life would be like if I had been chosen as America's Next Top Model because it is not my life. I am very happy with the outcome of the show. I came in as myself, and left as myself. I was the best me that I could be - 110 % - like everything else I try to do.
I was drawn to modeling because I enjoy every aspect of art and I know that anyone in the spotlight has a voice. I intend to share mine with as many people as possible, in the pursuit of happiness.
I think the entertainment industry as a whole is amazing in the way that it gives artists a chance to be successful, productive members of society. But on the other hand, I feel that there are a lot of people that are only in it for the money and abuse their power in the public eye. I feel the best way for me to make a positive difference is to infiltrate and try to remain honest and aware of the others that absorb the image that I portray.
I intend to change the modeling industry to the best of my ability, regardless of winning the contest or not. I am attempting to do so by remaining a compassionate, vulnerable being in the public eye, rather than allowing money or fame to compromise my actions.

I can honestly say that by
By Marinda, July 12, 2007 at 22:41I can honestly say that by you being on ANTM and being the person that you are, I have been sparked to be a more positive, peace and chaos spreading person. Tomorrow never comes, so I'm gonna use my voice today. I love your writing because it's, in a way, inspiring to me to continue to be me and empower others.
