I'm not being cold; I'm being realistic when I say I think the tears in court was all an act. As an observer I learned about people's characteristics et cetera-I had to in my line of work and the environment I hung out in. I question why she never went to the police right away after seeing the body hanging in the slaughterhouse.
How could she stay quiet so long after what she claims to have seen? I vaguely remember her and Pickton downtown. They couldn't pay me enough to go with them. The drugs were tempting, but I had a pimp that was waiting for me across the street, my ex.
Court started off this morning with defence team's Patrick McGowan whispering with Pickton. I noticed it immediately since I know Patrick McGowan and his family. I've been keeping my eye on his accomplishment as a lawyer, this being one of his first cases. I keep wondering what it's like to be Pickton's lawyer. How does it feel to defend someone of Pickton's stature?
When Lynn Ellingsen took the stand this morning, I didn't recognize her because she has cleaned up since the last time she was in the eye of the media. Many reporters were amazed at how well she had cleaned up. She was born June 25th, 1970 which makes her 37 today. Not much younger than I am. She grew up in North Delta with both parents and two brothers. She graduated from high school, however she got pregnant and had her baby three weeks after graduation. She was athletic with average grades. However, somewhere down the line her life turned for the worst.
What happened?
