Jordan Ninkovich is a survivor. His first book, Epidemic - A Survivor's Story which is available from www.iuniverse.com is easy and simple to read.

Jordan Ninkovich's story on the other hand is not so simple like his book and when it comes the subject of adolescent bullying the lifelong problems that victims are left with can as complex as a set of encyclopedias.

Epidemic details Jordan Ninkovich's personal experiences of obesity and bullying.
Growing from childhood to adolescence as the 'fat kid' in both elementary and high school led to the teasing and bullying which Jordan Ninkovich describes in vivid detail.
The abuse that Jordan suffered was not only a sorce of entertainment for those who teased him but it also became the ground in which the seeds of change would eventually take root and grow.
Indeed those roots have since grown and are now starting to bare fruit.

Jordan's story of how his attempt at committing suicide was narrowly averted by his parents bathroom before he could swallow a handful of painkillers is almost as painful to imagine as it was for Jordan to have endured as a 14 year old teenager.
While Epidemic also offers solutions and reinforces the idea that 'you can do it if you believe in yourself', the emotional pain and invisible scars lie just below the surface within every chapter of the book.
Some of the solutions that Jordan Ninkovich offers in his book Epidemic are the food recipies and diet that worked for him overcominng obesity.
In addition, Jordan describes weight training and excercise programs that have helped him to develop the strength and confidence that he needed to win the battle over the cruelty that had followed him for years.

Epidemic, includes some of Jordan's journal entrees he wrote as a child as well as some mental and emotional excercises that readers can practice and apply to their own lives.
