The Bad Guys

It's good to know who the "bad guys" are.

The buzz is always about how dirty he was, how he just looked wrong and how he gave people the "heebie jeebies." '

I went to Spider-Man 3 this weekend and as I watched it, I was very aware of how easily identifiable the bad guys were. Venom had the black sticky stuff all over him and Sandman had a big, menacing fist made of sand. I like it when the bad guys are bad. They look bad, speak with atrocious language and just have a sinister persona. I like it when you can tell who the bad guys are.

I am often asked what Pickton looks like and how I can possibly look at him day after day, for right now, he seems like the bad guy to a lot of people. When I look at him, he reminds me of that congealed jelly-like substance at the top of various canned meat products when you open the container (not that I personally have opened them, but I am sure we've all had a sandwich at grandma's with the amazing mystery meat) I feel like he has been dunked in a vat of it and never fully been able to get it off himself.

As I sit in court and look at Pickton time and time again, I am always amazed at how even now, being in jail, he can still have that same look to him as he did on the streets. If you go to the right places and listen to the buzz on the street, you can hear endless tales of people who knew Pickton, saw him and interacted with him. The buzz is always about how dirty he was, how he just looked wrong and how he gave people the "heebie jeebies."

Robert Bayers is the foreman at an animal rendering plant in Vancouver, B.C., where he had contact with Pickton. He also said that Pickton looked like a dirty fellow. In fact, he offered Pickton gloves to wear while Pickton dumped huge, old and filthy barrels filled with the animal carcasses from his farm. Pickton declined. Some reporters have said "supposed animal carcasses." The implication is just too much to even fathom. The mere thought of it makes me nauseous.

Since the time when Pickton frequented the rendering plant, its owners have drastically changed the dumping procedures.

I too have seen him, as well as you the one day I attended court.I have to agree he does look "like he had been dunked in a can of mystery meat"
While he looked slimy i have to say you looked very together. We chatted briefly in line that day and i found you to be quite personable.
Orato is lucky to have you as someone who is out there representing them in the community.
Keep up the good work.
