The loss of Anna Nicole Smith affected my life greatly, for a number of reasons. Aside from the obvious loss of a friend and future sister-in-law, the way my brother was treated by the media was a harsh blow. Without any proof, true basis, or credibility, people came out of the woodwork to trash him, and it affected our entire family greatly. We were all depressed and completely devastated when we saw what he was going through. The vastness of it made it that much worse. For literally two months, it was basically the only thing on TV, from talk shows, infotainment news to regular news; it was Anna Nicole Smith and Howard K. Stern everywhere, and a lot of lies were repeatedly told about Howard.
The media needs sensationalism. They need to create a story even if there isn't one, and Howard was an easy target because he was with her so much. I think that he was just a fall guy. It's no coincidence that a lot of people would stand to make a lot of money if he was not "in the way." These days in the media, things come out without proper research being done, so when one person picked up on an idea, everyone went with that idea and it just grew and grew and grew.
People stepped forward because they wanted their five minutes of fame, and most of the people that came out of the woodwork, Anna hadn't even seen or known for up to 10 years and a lot of them had criminal records or she'd had falling outs with years and years ago. These are the people the media are billing as credible witnesses? These people are calling Howard a killer?

There are many things about this whole situation that are disturbing one of them being Howard K. Stern's family. I worked with Anna on a regular basis and know Howard as well. I would like to start by saying I was so upset during the media frenzy by comments made by Bonnie Stern. Watching Bonnie Stern on ET saying how she thought 100% Howard was the father made me sick!
When it was proven that Larry was the father I was so happy that the Stern family would never have control over that baby. The fact that Dannielynn was ripped from Bonnie's life was exactly what she had coming. I was a friend of Anna's and still it broke my heart to watch Anna, Howard and his family on TV acting like a happy family, knowing that Dannielynn had a real family out there and was being kept from them.
I cried tears for Larry Birkhead. I only met him on a couple of occassions but Anna spoke of him with a gleam of true love. I can tell you that if Anna was alive today, I would not associate with her because of the scam she pulled on Larry Birkhead.
It appears that Dannielynn is now with a very loving family. As far as Virgie goes, I believe Anna hated her mother for several reasons. Reasons that I believe are valid.
I am sorry to go on a rampage but I feel that the truth should be told.

Howard is a fighter,even though I dont know him personally- I believe he has what it takes to do all he can in the best interests of those involved.
I know what being in the public eye is all about,and sometimes things happen..even if its not the best thing to have or remember.
I too had a friend of whom I loved dearly- to this day I believe he was my soulmate.His lungs collapsed,and I was not contacted about his death until his mother took me to court for money on his outstanding loan from herself.(A virgie,no less)
But its now been 11 years since,and one does not forget ...one moves forward the best way they can.Time will make this transition easier.

I believe she knew who had her back and her best interests at heart, and it was Howard. Many have made comments that Anna and Howard didn't have an intimate relationship, that is bull. Anna finally was ready to settle down and she knew she wanted to be with Howard. She, Howard and Dannielynn (after Daniel's passing). They were a perfect family.
When I saw Howard on the plane with ET from Florida to the Bahamas, it was too much. When I saw him uniting with Dannielynn, that did it. I couldn't stop the tears. Howard had been there for Anna forever. I believe he is still motivated by her wishes and intent and he will be successful. God bless the entire Stern family and I hope he continues to watch over you with his wonderful grace and mercy.

I think this is a beautiful and well written tribute. I also believe your brother loved Anna more than life. It could be such a beautiful thing if the media would butt out. I hope Howard realizes that he has nothing to be ashamed of and that he is able to move on in time.
The media has at times, had me literally in tears by the way they have tried to crucify this man. Anna must be turning over and over because of it. I believe in my heart that he will get through this. My faith tells me that God is the author of all hope, and he will never leave your sid as you walk through the dark, confusing, lonely and painful places in your life. He will replace your clouds of despair with the brilliant, penetrating light of his everlasting love. He will fill your heart with peace and your mind with wisdom and understanding. This is what he will do for Howard and he'll get through this. There is no doubt in my mind.
He hasn't lost everything, Anna is still in his heart. He needs to be reminded of Job. Enough said.
Just remember, joy comes in the morning.

I know that Howard loved Anna more than life. I know that he loved Dannielynn just the same and I hope and pray that he is doing ok. I know he will be grieving for quite sometime.
I pray that he can be in Dannielynn's life still, I know that Larry is a great father and loves his daughter more than anything (he loved Anna as well) I hope that they can become great friends and both be able to tell Dannielynn about her wonderful mother!

By tiberiu, March 31, 2008 at 08:28Everybody loves Anna, but she does not love anyone. She loves the money and other stuff that made her become the star of the california drug rehab center. Anyways, maybe some love her, but I don't see the point in loving an illusion.
