My name is Natasha Nelson. I am a recovering meth addict. I lost everything to meth. I swear it steals your soul. It takes everything from a human being and turns you into something you never thought you could be. I've always had trouble with my life, since I was to little to remember. My mother and my father split when i was four years old and i rarely ever see my dad so I grew up without him. I have always had trouble in school but one day I gave up.

It was the ninth grade. I remember the day like it was yesterday. My best friend Tiffany and I were 13 years old at the time, we had run away from our parents and we met a couple of older guys. They took us to their house and one guy pulled out a bag of white stuff. He put it on a mirror and asked us if we have ever done this stuff before. Of course we looked at eachother and said "Hell ya!" even though we hadn't.

All I can remember from that night was smoking the stuff in a glass pipe and sniffing it. We had finished a ball of meth between us in roughly an hour. I also remember a couple of their friends came over and brought some liquor. After about 45 minutes of 'tweaking out,' everything went black.

I remember opening my eyes and I was naked, in the back of a vehicle with a guy whose name I didn't even know. I don't know how I got there or how long I'd been there. After that, I don't know how I got back to the house where my best friend was, but when I got there, she was crying and she was worried about me and she started yelling at me "Natasha why did you let him drag you out of the house, you were gone for like six hours. What did he do to you?"

I was so confused by that time because I had blacked out from all the meth we did. I was so scared and I didn't know if i should tell my mother or what. Since that day, I have been doing meth every single day.

Whatever happened to a few

By codeblue, April 7, 2007 at 10:59

Whatever happened to a few beers and a joint? It seems just getting high isn't good enough anymore; meth, crack, speedballs, whatever.

What is the first time meth user thinking? - drain cleaner, phosporus, ammonia, kerosene, etc............yah, sure, gimme some of that! For Christ sakes.

One shot at rehab and the failures get locked up permanently in my opinion.
