It is rumored that Matt Peters sprang from the head of Ninkasi, the Sumarian goddess of beer, then put him up for adoption somewhere in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up primarily in the suburbs of Northern, VA. At the age of 12, he was found, after having been lost for three days, at the Pub sitting in the midst of the elder publicans, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And his mother said unto him, "Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing." And he said unto them, "How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be in my Mother's house?" When he grew older, he decided to leave his childhood home, and wandered the world learning at the feet of Allen Ginsburg, Edward Abbey, Kurt Vonnegut, Hunter S. Thompson, William Blake, Geoffrey Chaucer, John Milton, and many many others. He rode upon steel birds to visit places such as República Federativa do Brasil, Estados Unidos Mexicanos , Bundesrepublik Deutschland, and the Land of Éire. After soaking up all that he could, and being bestowed with the paltry title of Bachelor of Arts in English, he decided he must find what others deigned to call a "real job." After all, before realizing his full potential as the son of a goddess, he must first learn the ways of the plebeian. Yet, he does not let his mind simply rest. He continues his tutelage under the likes of Aleister Crowley, Gary Gygax, John Palmer, Manly P. Hall, and of course, the Brothers Alström. He continues to attend Ceremonies to his true mother's name, tasting the fruits of her most beloved monks labors. Most notably, he has attended the American Craft Beer Festival in the great land of Bostonia. In addition to this site, he writes publicly on a blog entitled www.beerandblasphemy.com
