An Oracle's Insight

To tell you the truth, I’ve never been cursed with good looks. I’ve craved the popularity that the beautiful people always seemed to have as their birth right when young, like all plain people. Feeling downright ugly, compared to some of my peers, has colored my attitude in different ways during various stages of my “mellowing” process. These days, the smiling Oracle, Bud, finds are untrammeled by false assumptions, harsh self-criticisms. Today I possess a happy openness, an infectious “well-ease” type of glow (as in opposite of disease). The fact is that pretty girls seem to have no defense against this well-ease.

Today, the daily sojourn to Trout Lake rekindled a friendship from a brief prior introduction. As she strolled so devastatingly, nonchalantly, past my intricate encounter with another more closely matched-age-wise Lady and dog, Andrea lured me gently away with her beautiful smile and interesting conversation. She was another smiling sailor on this happy ocean of life. Andrea informed me, when I asked, that she was an actor. I could tell by the passionate way she was engaged in our discourse, that most likely she was a good one. Sex didn’t actually enter my mind until we had parted and I glimpsed her nice bum. (funny how that still works so well, eh?)

It wasn’t that she wasn’t stunningly beautiful during our conversation, we were too busy making each other orgasm with only oral intercourse (talking.) I realize that for the first time in my life I don’t see myself as ugly, but as a very desirable human being. This old man actually has dozens of beautiful young ladies in my ken, who enjoy my company, when they can get it.
