If I could give away a Photo Of The Year award, this one of a fire burning on TV and outside this man's window might take it! On December 11, 2005 the Buncefield oil depot in Hertfordshire suffered an explosion, resulting in Europe's largest peacetime fire, injuring 43. The photographer could see the aftermath from his window 500 yards away. Talk about in the line of fire! Photos by Gridlock on Flickr.
