Rudy Giuliani To Annex Florida, Rename It "Extremely Southern New York"

Rudy Giuliani in front of Ground Zero

The country would be in deep shit if Rudy Giuliani became President.

How I spent my Tuesday morning...

I went to my first political protest rally this morning. Who was that incredibly funny guy who gave the protest rally cry, "One, two, three, four, we don't want to go to work today..."? But I digress, and when I eat something, I digest....Excuse me, I am overcome with exhaustion...

We met up with a group of New York Firefighters and family members of firefighters lost on that terrible day, 9/11. They talked about the shortcomings that were ignored by Giuliani that led to the needless deaths of hundreds, like radios that didn't work properly, preventing at least 125 firefighters from evacuating the north tower, which they could have done in the hour that followed the evacuation order if they had heard it.

According to Rudy, they "chose" to remain in the building, despite having heard an order to leave. This is both unfactual and denigrates the memories of those lost. But it is typical Rudy, he will lie - if it will twist the facts to support his point.

Rudy was no hero on 9/11; he was the same incompetent mayor that day that he was on 9/10, with a bunker "in the sky" on tanks of fuel, despite being told by many experts that this was the last place it should be.

And for those who think there was no way to have been prepared for the attacks on 9/11, let me tell you a story I call the "prequel to 9/11", known as the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. All the mistakes and problems that were encountered in 1993, were the same problems faced on 9/11.

I don't know much about Rudy, but like lots of people, i was a bit upset that he took so much credit for "being there" after 9/11 - when tragedies happen, you don't take credit for doing something, - it's something you earn, and others recognize, and you, not doing it for yourself or to build political collateral, should accept it with humility, and not flaunt it...for me that's a good leader, but then again
few politicians have ever behaved like true selfless leaders.
