This festive marijuana-infused cheese ball is just the thing to bring about some holiday cheer. A little dish that should help you get busy “relaxing” with friends.

Ideally, it is served up with some Gin and Chronic as a third eye opener to any hip soirée. You want your guests to have a great time without sleeping over. So be shy.

My mom always says “You can go back for seconds but can’t take away firsts.” Too often, marijuana food is served in the dessert form and the temptation is to eat it last and have it sit on top of the rest, waiting for its turn. Better to get your high on early in the night so your guests don’t leave the party too stoned.

HOOCHEESE BALLS:
You will need:
1 small pkg. soft goat cheese
1 pkg. cream cheese
1 500g pack of cheddar cheese
½ cup of dried cranberries
2 medium jalapeno peppers
½ cup plus 1 tbsp of sunflower oil
20 grams shake/leaf
1 ½ cups of toasted sesame seeds

What to do:

Grind cannabis shake/leaf very fine like flour and run through metal strainer to pull out long fibers.

Sauté shake flour and sunflower oil on really low heat for 30 minutes plus. Make sure not to burn.

Sieve off the shake and put oil into glass jar.

Dice fine the peppers and cranberries.

Grate the cheddar cheese.

In mixing bowl add goat cheese, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cranberries, peppers and marijuana infused oil.

Mix thoroughly. Roll into balls and then roll balls in toasted sesame seeds.

Baker's note: I like to freeze them right away for freshness and then just remove them from freezer the day before serving and put them into the fridge. Remember: less is more when eating pot food. This Hoocheese Ball serves 12 – 20, depending on your geography.

GIN AND CHRONIC
You will need:
A large mason jar
Lots of clean dry shake
Gin (your preference, I like Bombay)
Melon Liquor

What to do:
Pack Mason jar with clean dry shake/leaf of cannabis plant.
