Over 10 years of experience in television and music, with projects that include editing and graphics for the Coca Awards, band promos, and video directing for concerts. John is currently based in Asia to work independently and produce his own features. He has been based in Asia for the last 4 years, and is now fluent in Mandarin Chinese. His most recent work is a documentary from Cambodia titled “Midnight Sunrise”. Midnight Sunrise was awarded "Best International Historical Documentary" from the New York Independent Film and Video Festival 2007. Before moving abroad John worked at Craig broadcastings A-Channel in Winnipeg (currently City TV) as the stations camera, lighting and sound for over 300 commercials and station promos.
