Terry was deserving of justice. Our family will not be at peace until we find it for her. '

My name is Debbie Deckert and I am one of Terry Armstrong's siblings. You don't know my sister, she was not a celebrity or public figure. About the only time anyone will see my sister's name in the paper will be as a result of her brutal murder almost three years ago in Madison County, Norfolk, Nebraska. Her body found by a hunter not far from Meadow Grove near the Yellowbanks State Recreation Area. The attack was so brutally heinous, that not even the family has been told the full extent of my sister's injuries, and to this date, no one has been charged with her murder.

There were three "persons of interest" in my sister's case. Two were named and the third remains unnamed. Photos of the two main persons of interest were never released to the public.

The first man was Terry's live-in boyfriend, Tim Randall. Not long after Terry was murdered, he was charged on three previous counts of domestic violence and sentenced to serve 180 days.

Troy Voichoskie, who was a friend of Terry's boyfriend, was also tied to the crime because my sister's blood was found in his pick up truck the same day as her murder. He was also the last person she was seen with. And despite the fact that a broken post and pieces of his truck's tail light were found at the scene of her murder, none of this was considered enough evidence to arrest him.

There was also DNA from an unidentified source found on Terry's clothing, and investigators suggested it could have come from someone other than her murderer. Investigator Jon Downey said there is a third person of interest, but no details have been released.

Terry was many things - brave, resilient, tender, spiritual and exceptionally generous - but she was also a long-time victim of domestic violence. After the crib death of her daughter, my sister was diagnosed as a as paranoid schizophrenic, and she struggled with this for the rest of her life.

Despite the many difficulties in her own life, Terry held a positive view of life and people. She searched for the good in everyone she met, and her outgoing personality and sense of humor brought joy, not just to her family and friends, but often to perfect strangers.

I'm sorry for your loss. It must be hard not knowing who committed this horrible murder of your sister. Now let's go and get this scum before he does it again. Some of the questions will not be easy to answer, but they have to be answered. Do the two suspects and the third person of interest have any , I mean ANY, person working for the police or the judiciary ( relatives, friends, acquantiances ), who might have a blind eye to the investigation. I see in the picture that she was friendly with truckers. Did she have a substance abuse problem ? ( Alchohol, Drugs, Amphetamines ) If so, we need to look close to the pusher of the substance. Where she was found was there any tire marks in the vicinity of the deceased ? Was the crime scene marked off ?Was forencics done on the hands ? Was her cloths wiped down for forencics ? Was everything taken out of Troy Viochoskie's truck and checked for blood spatter or spray ? There are many ways to catch a murderer these are a few examples. Maybe someone got locked up somewhere else and will trade some information for a lighter sentence. I hope this gives you some relief of the burden you feel. Good Luck.
