Lies, Liars, And How to Spot Them

This is the picture of a healthy democratic protest keeping freedom alive, not something to be scorned.

Con men are anxious for you to “buy” into their deal and therefore keep hammering away from a single determined perspective, allowing you no room for independent thought. Someone who is explaining a vision in which they believe honestly will leave room for your doubts and try to address them in a fair way respecting you for having them.

It is the little things that one should be looking for that will give a liar away. The shifty eyes, the constant reiteration of “I’m telling you the truth:” is a likely sign that they themselves need reinforcement. The truth should be evident without it having to be labeled as such, constantly.

If they have been caught in a lie it is much more likely that they will lie again. It is more likely that you will see a liar denigrate others as lying, painting them with the behavior which they themselves possess. Liars are always in a rush for you to make up your mind and will leave you with only one acceptable choice, unbelievable though that may be, trumping even common sense.

This administration’s call to attack Iran is such an example. Does no one remember the theory of MAD? Mutually assured destruction, as in the cold war? Only in this case it would come down to AD assured destruction for Iran.

The basic premise that Iran would be a threat to the USA as soon as it got its hands on a nuclear weapon is total idiocy. Hello! The launch of a single MIRVed nuclear ICBM from among the thousands in the arsenal of the USA would destroy Iran and make it unlivable for the next 1000 years.

It is not the right of the USA to limit any other nation’s weaponry unilaterally on any assumption that it makes. Every nation in the world has an equal right to defend itself against nuclear aggressive nations such as the USA, by developing nuclear weapons.

Here's another example of a current con being perpetrated on us by our Government:
Wally Oppal's crocodile tears appealing to his sense of "justice" by his emotional plea, graphically conjuring up young girls being diddled by 58 year old men. That was designed to foster a "we-are doing-something -about these -bad-things" impression. what will actually happen is nothing, because unless someone complains, there can be no charges of abuse, polygamy, or anything.

Did we hear him cry these crocodile tears when young native girls were being diddled by the hundreds by judges cops and crown attorneys? What about painting some scenario where a fourteen year old native/Caucasian/Asian girl/boy is regular abused to satisfy older perverts pleasures because they are being hooked on lifestyles of lawlessness fostered by his moronic, contra productive Prohibition addiction. He doesn't explain why all those murders are taking place, and has no compassion for the parents and loved ones of those adventurous but lawless entrepreneurs.

WALLY OPPAL SUPPORTS THIS MIND BOGGLING INSANITY EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE CONTINUING FAILED POLICY OF PROHIBITION WHICH IS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE.FOR A HUGE SWATH OF VIOLENCE AND MISERY TO EVERYONE.THIS INSANE PARADIGM COULD BE ABOLISHED FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY FOR A MODEL OF CONTROL AND FREEDOM OF CHOICE FOR ADULTS IN AN INSTANT, BECAUSE IT A TOTALLY ARTIFICIAL CONSTRUCT BASED ON A RELIGIOUS JUDGMENT, NOT RATIONAL DEDUCTION..

All Oppal is doing is empty impression marketing. Do you see him pulling me ofF the streets?

I would not need a lawyer to argue my case with and he'd have nothing to stand on having established the precedent of freedom of religious belief over criminal laws..Therefore, I and everyone else, who wishes (and has the cojones) can believe in the foundation of a valid scientific argument for the freedom of choice.

I say that your grasp of the law must be contortionary, Wally!

Liars can be quite sincere, lying to themselves by selective memory and prejudiced viewpoints, basing their assumptions on a premise that they wish to reconstruct events with.

They can easily be spotted, because they often appeal directly to emotions rather than give reasoned arguments. These are the tools, methods of operation, of the marketer, the con man.

An example of this is taking events out of context: I see it as a very biased view of things, as my comment explains:
