Anyone who thinks that they will give up their TASERS, or change, is not smoking anything enlightening. The police control us, not the other way around. '

Zofia Cisowski spoke at the Braidwood inquiry probing the use of Tasers in B.C. It was her son Robert Dziekanski, who died Oct. 14, 2007, at Vancouver International Airport after he received several electrical jolts from an RCMP TASER.

I heard her strong, yet emotionally laden, accented voice clearly speak the truth. If these “goons” had not been armed with a TASER they would have had to talk to him. As he had no weapon and wasn’t threatening the police they could not have legally drawn their handguns. The only other recourse would have been to use physical force and since he wasn’t resisting there would not be a need for excess force.

She had control of herself to speak clearly and emotionally to the issue at hand: police brutality using a deadly weapon where no force was necessary. There is no way around it. The RCMP lies that swung into place automatically after the cell video was seized, are evidence of how common such an occurrence, how well oiled the machinery to cover it up, is.

As I said before, the RCMP has turned itself into a Mickey Mouse goon squad addicted to drug busts. In my experience they don’t have a good reputation amongst the elements that could give them valuable information. It has been said to me so many times by ordinary people in dog parks, “Don’t ever trust the RCMP” that I am beginning to believe that I was a real fool. I sure hope that no more “fools” are sucked in to help these gang members who get away with murder, poor performers.

They could not come up with the Air India bombers, although they were on to them before hand. The last Commissioner of the RCMP sent an innocent man to be tortured in Syria as a token in order to ingratiate himself to the FBI.
