The Japan leg of China's Olympic torch relay began Saturday with thousands of riot police lining the streets, helicopters buzzing the skies and demonstrators rallying in a pro-Tibet prayer vigil.

Being pro-china these days isn't easy, it's like someone being pro-america...there are so many strings and ideologies attached, even when all you want to do is be patriotic. Patriotism itself is very funny when analyzed...what makes a person Chinese or American or Canadian? Is it a limitation or is it empowering, or both?
