After a failed appeal on the part of Heather Mills, Justice Bennet's full ruling was released to the public, giving us an inside glimpse into the 4-year battle between the former model and her estranged Beatle husband Paul McCartney. Heather is walking away with £24.3 million (US$48.6 million) - an astronomical figure, to be sure, but only a fraction of the £400 million Paul is good for. Not surprisingly, it was enough to satisfy Heather, who came out of the courtroom saying she was "very pleased." Thanks to the magic of the Internet, you can read all the sordid, juicy details here in the Judge's full ruling.

By luyen, March 18, 2008 at 18:43At one point i had an ounce of interest, but with all the stuff going in the world, and recently hearing about Tibetan people dying to give themselves a democratic voice, it just seems so meh.
To McCartney and Mills, boo, hiss! ;-)

By Robyn Stubbs, March 18, 2008 at 15:48Ha! I've made it through about 20 pages of the judgment so far and I am thoroughly entertained! Here's my favourite part so far:
"The wife for her part must have felt rather swept off her feet by a man as famous as the husband. I think this may well have warped her perception leading her to indulge in make-belief. The objective facts simply do not support her case."
BURN!

By Mike Small, March 18, 2008 at 14:52I couldn't be less impressed with Heather Mills. Not only is she taking nearly 50 million dollars from Paul, she reportedly dumped a glass of water on McCartney's lawyer after the adjournment. Acting like a 4 year old + taking money from The Beatles = some seriously bad karma.
