Reporters Don't Know Everything

Regarding Jami Floyd – IN Session (Cutts Trial) from Feb 25
I was watching the following video on CNN today (Feb. 26, 08) and found that the reporter needs to do some investigating and get ALL her facts RIGHT before she opens her mouth on CNN and wherever else it was televised, for the world to see. As I was listening to her go on about the Cutts trial and that he wasn’t as bad as these other serial killers, why? Because he admitted that he done it? Because he ONLY killed his girlfriend and unborn child? She was not giving ALL the facts, only what she wanted people to hear. Stating that the following killers did not get the death sentence. Well, two of them were in states that DID NOT have the death sentence, and Manson WAS sentenced to death and later taken off due to it being eliminated in the state of California at the time. She really needs to get her facts straight before acting like a reporter!! Here are the facts about the killers she mentioned and WHY they didn't get the death sentence. I'm sure if the state had the penalty, they would have gotten it!

BTK killer Dennis Lynn Rader
He was not eligible for the death penalty. Kansas did not have a death penalty during the period of time during which he committed his crimes. It reinstituted the penalty in 1994. He murdered 10 people in Sedgwick County Kansas, between 1974 and 1991.

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer
Dahmer murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991, with the majority of the murders occurring between 1989 and 1991.
