"Their are two sides to every coin" I
would like to know when this was first
stated, and whom coined it first!

I was compeled to write this story, for Two reasons; First I never had
a chance to tell my story to anyone!
Second: "I'm darn sure another side will, and should be writen!"

I will play the Devil's advocate here
as I for one do have the right also to spend my 'Two Cents' as a FREE nonbias American, one that has his own two cents, along with Three Bronze Stars,
and more medals than a proud Soldiers chest can hold, not to mention; I did too, go AWOL from my command...

The 'DRAFT' pulled me in, and from the
start I knew more than the average joe
the hazards of war, and that question
all bravemen ask, at some time or another! 'Should I stay or should I go'
Bravery starts with the answer one will
submit to oneself and 'act upon!'

little did I know I'd have to put my
experience and advice to this use.

My story begins in Puerto Rico, funny
thing about that is, my home is in NJ
en Italian living in a village high on
a plato-up a rough winding road to no
where and to speak a foreign language
to this day is difficult for me to both
understand muchless to speak fluiently.

There I was a youth, en adventurer with
the decission to make...Heck I was gone
in my mind far from home...never to be
seen again. I had to ressel with the
Family and friends issue and did that
each and every day until...Ya...That
Gov. letter were to be read-over the
phone to me and by my ailing mother, in
tears, cause she knew the score, boy-
did she ever know the score...That is
why, she first said:"did you hear what
happened to Clay...the boxer in jail"
Who didn't I said, they speak broken
english here...ya know!
