I Wanted To Be Britain's Next Top Model

I had a wicked time on Britain's Next Top Model. I was so lucky to get to the final four and go to South Africa, which is somewhere I’d never been before and always wanted to go. The judges have seen something in the final four girls that is very distinct and unique and very model-like, so I trust in the judges and their opinion.

I had never modeled before the show, so it was delving into the deep end as fast as I could and trying to swim when it was easier to sink. Obviously, I was gutted to leave because I would have loved to have won, but I had a great time throughout the whole thing.

I learned so much while I was there. For instance, Huggy was not only a judge but she’s an amazing photographer and she taught us so much. Little things like angles to the camera and watching the lighting – those things are really important but you would never know it until you actually got on to set and start working.

A Little Bit Of Faith

My faith means an awful lot to me and I believe I get everywhere through the love of God. I definitely could have got through it all without Him. But not everyone believes what I believe in, and I respect and understand that completely. Everyone is entitled to their opinion (otherwise we’d all be robots, I suppose), but I think that without God, I wouldn’t have got into the competition and I certainly wouldn’t have got as far as I did. It’s quite stressful living in a house with 14 girls! The atmosphere at the house at times got quite tough, but you have to realize why you’re there and if you want it bad enough, you’ve got to just grin and bear it and work hard. You can’t all get along for the whole three months, so sometime it was easier to run into my room and say a quick prayer!
