I think Gordon Ramsay wanted to keep Jennifer around because he’s still got a few more rounds to box, and America's gonna love that! Chef’s really going to put her in her place. I think he’s got a score to settle. He’s going to chop her down once and for all.
Final Five
It didn’t hit me at all that I was in the final five. I woke up and it was just me and Petrozza in the room. I thought, ‘Huh! I could win this thing.’
My skill level is higher than probably everyone’s there, but it’s not only about skill level. Skill was 80 per cent, but it was the other 20 per cent that I didn’t have – I didn’t have the controversy.
Gordon didn’t yell at me or cuss at me. Me and Gordon started connecting on a level of Chef versus Chef. It was hard for him to disrespect me when things were rough, because I made the same mistakes he probably would have made.
Running For Office
As far as what Chef said about me being a politician, I was just telling him what it is. I think I said you can’t believe what everybody says, and all smiles are not Colgate smiles. Once I started rolling off with that, I started going off with some more…But yeah, I could see me and Barack on the same ticket or me cooking for him in the White House.
Black Gordon Ramsay
I wouldn’t take that back, calling myself the “Black Gordon Ramsay.” I take charge of the kitchen. But halfway through this season you noticed I started settling down. I developed my own style. I walked in there a four-star general, and I’m still a general.
In terms of race though, I never get involved in that.

By goldenpen, July 9, 2008 at 15:23I thought you were one of the best, Bobby. You gloated sometimes, but you knew your stuff and you could cook really well. I think you should have outlasted Jen for sure. I was especially impressed with your behavior on the finale. You weren't bitter, unlike someone (Jen) and you were dedicated to helping Petrozza with the best of your abilities. I wish you luck in the future, General Bobby.

By jbs1273, June 11, 2008 at 12:23With all due respect Bobby...you're completely delusional if you think you deserved to stay past the final 5.
It was painfully obvious that you talked a big game, but failed to deliver. You floated thru the competition most of the time while displaying a couple flashes of good work. yes, from what we saw on last night's show...both you & Jen screwed up just as much. But for some reason, your screwups were more noticeable in his eyes and she displayed some level of toughness to Gordon that you did not!
In my eyes and also in the eyes of many fans...you should have been gone sooner, but other people's complete lack of execution stood out more than yours did...which lead to their dismissal.
How dare you also insinuate that you had to work harder than the "Caucasian" people on the show in order to stand out and stay on! That's a complete garbage statement. Chef said it best during his analogy of why you left last night! And the other contestants had you pegged as well, having some knowledge but no lack of push or desire to work harder. You didn't need drama to keep you there, you needed hard work, talent, less whining, and a better attitude.
Your remaining five minutes of fame will elapse before the end of the month...you claim to be an executive chef for the past 15 years? JOKE! If you're so good, you'd be cooking in a top shelf restaurant in Buffalo.
