Imitated But Never Replicated, Lindsay Lohan's Tribute To Marilyn

Not too long ago Lindsay Lohan became the latest star to imitate the ephemeral Marilyn Monroe. I know Lindsay took some flack from people who said she didn't even come close to capturing Marilyn's spirit, but I enjoyed the homage. After so many negative photos of Lindsay in the press - passed out in a car, wielding a knife at a house party, modeling bikinis with an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet, and of course the DUI mug shot - it was nice to see her strip it all away. She's no Marilyn, but Lindsay is a very pretty girl, and I hope she'll survive Hollywood longer than the late Monroe. I thought I'd post some of the photos here for all to enjoy. I suppose it warrants an editor's warning: Contains nudity.

Considering all the magic they can do with lights, make-up, digital touch-ups...I have to say, and I find Lindsay Lohan quite attractive in her own way, but she doesn't hold a candle to Marilyn Monroe in terms of sheer camera presence....naturally it's a tribute, but that's my 2 cents ;-) Hey anything that keeps her sober is good stuff.
