Li'l Gn'r was created by New York City comedian, Mark Malkoff, originally as a video piece for his comedy show, FNI. Malkoff held an open call which was attended by one hundred children who auditioned for the role of Li'l Axl and company. Five children were selected and Li'l Gn'r was born.
Li'l Gn'r played concert dates throughout 2006. They also filmed the Li'l Gn'r video documentary, which featured the band in rehearsals, interviews, trashing a hotel room, concert footage, and much more. The kids have grown up a bit, but rock 'n' roll never dies.
